In the two weeks following a disappointing week one loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Andy Dalton and A.J. Green have carried the Cincinnati Bengals to two straight wins, and they hope to ride the wave to a third straight win against the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Sunday. The Bengals offense has been playing very well throughout the 2012 NFL season, but if the Bengals want to be a legit contended, they will need to make adjustments on the defensive side of the ball, where they are currently ranked as the third worst defense in the NFL. The Bengals defense has been bad in every area, but their biggest weakness so far is at stopping the run. The Jaguars don’t have a talented team, but what they do have is one of the best running backs in the NFL with Maurice Jones-Drew. The Bengals should have no problem lighting up the scoreboard in Jacksonville, but in order for the Bengals to win,, they will need to play some better run defense.
