Tough times for Easy Skanking Simpson!

Cincinnati Bengals’ Jerome Simpson pleaded guilty to felony drug charge related to a package of California grown Marijuana that he signed for under the alias “Jason Snyder.” I guess the wide receiver wanted to get some serious relaxation when he admittedly received a shipment of approximately two pounds of marijuana. More controlled substances were reportedly found at his town home according to a plea agreement. Simpson initially claimed innocence in this case but later admitted that he indeed received the package and his attorney argued that the marijuana was for the wide receiver’s consumption with his friends. Per the terms of Simpson’s plea agreement after pleading guilty to a charge of “prohibited acts relating to a controlled substance” he was sentenced to serve 60 days in the county jail. A formal sentencing is scheduled for April 5th but the wide receiver is due for a minimum of four games suspension under the NFL’s substance abuse policy and what will happen to his free agency status now? Stay tuned for more…

As John Wayne would say, “Life’s though pilgrim, it’s even tougher when you’re stupid.” Good going Mr. Simpson
