Rookies Shine Again as Bengals Defeat Seahawks 34-12

Surprise, surprise! The Bengals are now a solid 5-2 and can be classified as contenders to win the AFC North, or at lease vie for a wild card spot. In the 32-12 victory over the Seahawks, the Bengals again saw great production from rookie QB Andy Dalton. In spite of the 2 interceptions thrown by Dalton, he completed 18 of 29 attempts for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of those touchdowns went to star rookie receiver, AJ Green. Green finished the game with 4 receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. A great surprise in this game came from Bernard Scott, who was filling in for the suspended Cedric Benson. Scott added a productive 76-yards on 22 carries.

Next week the Bengals will travel to Tennessee to play the Titans. Keep coming back to this Cincinnati Bengals blog for all the Bengals news you need regarding the currently 5-2 Bengals.
